This is an easy recipe that I make when I’m bored with my regular oatmeal. You can make it in in the morning or in a jar overnight and just take it to school or work with you. How awesome is that? It honestly tastes more like a really satisfying dessert than a healthy breakfast!
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup non dairy milk
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp chocolate chips(optional)
- Combine the water, milk and oats and cook for 2 minutes
- Add the cacao powder and maple syrup. Let it cook for 3 more minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally.
- Add some chocolate chips and fresh strawberries on top
